large room comfortable bed clean appliances
my corner room was quite large and settling in was easy. the bed was comfortable. the room included a kitchenette and all appliances were clean.. the staff accommodated my request to check my luggage after checkout.
the floors weren't vacuumed well enough.

street noise fire alarm
Our room faced north and it was VERY noisy all night. I heard junkies yelling in the street. It kept me awake. The hotel also tested fire alarms for hours one morning! They didn't tell anyone beforehand. I called to ask if we needed to evacuate, and that's when they told me about the testing. THIS was not a cheap stay, so I was disappointed.

excellent downtown stay
convenient location helpful staff roasted beans
The location of this hotel is very convenient for exploring the city. i found the staff to be consistently helpful and polite . the 24/7 coffee availability was a definite plus, especially with their own roasted beans. i greatly appreciated the complimentary wine tasting. The wine was AMAZING!!!
i was disappointed to find that the elevators were quite small. the size made it a bit cramped, especially when travelling with luggage. requesting clean sheets was necessary, as they were not automatically provided.

the hotel benefits from a central position close to various restaurants and bars. powell's bookstore and whole foods market are also within walking distance. this makes accessing amenities and attractions very easy.

the beautiful king room offers ample space and comfort for relaxation. the rooms include upgraded features. i noticed that bathrobes were available, with a touch of luxury after a shower.

the hotel provides parking in the garage, but this comes with an additional fee. a discount was offered because of tickets i had for a local stage event. the availability of coffee 24/7 in the lobby is also a great benefit.
